about
I am an art historian and heritage practitioner whose work explores the relationship between art, history, and cultural memory. I hold an MA in History of Art from the Indian Institute of Heritage. My research engages with a wide range of South Asian artistic traditions across different historical periods and materials, including sculpture and architecture.
While my primary research focus is on Buddhist visual culture, my work more broadly examines how monuments and objects are interpreted within museums, academic scholarship, and public discourse. Alongside academic research, I am actively engaged in public history initiatives through heritage walks, lectures, and museum interpretation.
I have previously worked with the National Museum, New Delhi, where I conducted gallery walkthroughs and assisted with exhibition research. These projects aim to make art historical knowledge more accessible while encouraging critical engagement with cultural landscapes.
